April-May 2017

Dear Pastor and Praying Friends,
We have been having a good year this year.  We have been blessed to see the Lord do great things in the conferences and meetings we have been in.  One conference we were in, the pastor was upfront with us: their numbers were down for various reasons and he wasn’t sure what to expecct with the committment.  At the end of the conference, the amount committed was more than the previous year’s.  At another conference, they committed more than they had in eight years.  We have seen a lot of churches with a love for missionaries that is humbling, comforting, and encouraging.  We have been overwhelmed by the heart, concern, and respect for missionaries.  Thank you for your love and prayers.
In the last letter, I asked for prayer for wisdom on some financial decisions.  God has led us to move toward getting an RV to travel in for the rest of deputation.  We moved out of our house at Shepherd’s Bethel in April to start saving money toward that.  Still, we only have around $2,000 for the purchase.  Right now we are considering a 2001 RV with around 140,000 miles on it for $6,000.  It is from a missionary family just finishing deputation.  Please pray the Lord would give clarity on the direction He would have us go.  Also, we would appreciate any financial help toward this that the Lord would direct.  We currently have no debt, and would like to keep it that way.
We are currently in Amarillo, Texas.  We had a great meeting at Central Baptist Church.  We are scheduled to be at Arden Road Baptist Church this Sunday; then we will travel up to Colorado for a couple meetings.  We still have open dates between now and July 10th and are still looking for a place to park our van in Las Angeles, CA while we are in Peru.

Please pray:
That we get the money for the RV God wants us to have
That we continue to schedule more meetings
Our trip to Peru in July
That more churches would take us on for support

For Christ’s Glory,
Rob, Rebekah, Nathaniel and Ethan Greene
